Well now, we are almost up to speed on life around the Price home. Sorry it's taken awhile.
Garrett has lots of teeth, even molars coming in. He's beginning to look more and more like a toddler and less like a baby. He'll be able to enter nursery at church in June and we aren't worried at all. He's big enough to scare off any 2 yr old...or 4 yr old for that matter.
No words yet. He makes noises that sound like words and you can tell that he tries to mimic you. We aren't worried really, because he definitely knows how to communicate. He shakes his head yes and no, plays charades, points, laughs, cries or throws himself on the floor. He's a very expressive child. He likes figuring things out, reading, Sesame Street, being chased, going to the park, his blue blanket, animals, eating (esp cheese and anything with sugar) and playing with his dad or his uncle Joe (my 11 yr old brother).
Garrett's also good at pointing out body parts on himself and others like nose, eyes, tummy, knees, toes and so on.
We're feeling good about ourselves as parents these days because of our nightly routine with Garrett. He drinks his milk at 8pm, we brush his teeth 8:15, say prayer, give goodnight kisses and he's down for the night by 8:30pm without a whine or cry! HALLELUIAH! We had to start a strict routine so we could get him to let us brush his teeth, get him used to prayer and let him know when bed time is so he doesn't keep climbing out of his crib! I'm sure you all saw the video on Facebook but just in case I'll try to post it here as well.
