Christmas Gifts

All these toys and many more were made possible by Grandma and Grandpa Price, Great Grandma and Grandpa Johnson (stacking rings and Mr. Potatoehead), Great Grandma and Grandpa Price, Grandma and Grandpa Anderson and many aunts and uncles. It's just not possible for us to take pictures of every item given to our boys because we have been blessed to receive SO MUCH!

Sleeping Rebellion

We send him to bed...

But he won't stay in it.

We find the lights turned on.

Sometimes we find his head even on the pillow... but he's still not in bed...

Sometimes we find him in his beanbag chair too.
But atleast we always find him asleep.

Christmas Sugar Cookies!

"G" is for Garrett! Sugary, sweet, and delectable Garrett! Yes, he really enjoyed eating this!

Our sweet friend, Nubia, had a bag FULL of sprinkles from a school activity and brought over 101 cookie cutters and a smile. We had lots of fun making Christmas sugar cookies! Garrett probably ate his weight in frosting and sprinkles that day.

Rather than doing traditional trees, stars, gingerbread men and snowmen...we made lots of Dinosaurs!

A Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

So my family are "Christmas tree snobs" as Brad puts it. We enjoy the hunt for the perfect tree and cutting it down ourselves and decorating it to the nines while singing and laughing. Sounds surreal but it's true. The "Tree" is just as important as the presents. A few weeks before our favorite holiday Brad, the boys and I drove down to my parents house to go tree hunting. Kent, Bee, Dara holding Garrett and Joe with a saw are pictures above in the snowy hills of Colorado.

My handsome, happy husband.

Dara holding Garrett and Bee hoping to steal some body heat. It was so cold!

I caught my mom in the middle of finally admitting that there weren't any good trees to be had. Unfortunately Joe just had to cut something down so we ended up with the most...Charlie Brown Tree you can imagine. It was so bad that my mom even blogged about it...blogged about how we tried to make the best of it, decorated it and sang as we did it...and then undecorated it and turned it into firewood and bought one from Home Depot. She's got some pictures on her blog that are pretty good, you should take a look! www.momza.blogspot.com

Christmas

This video is kinda funny. We begin by seeing Brad trying to clean the lens of the camcorder all the while, I'm sure you are wondering what's on his head...a raccoon maybe? No. It's his new hat ;o) He got it for Christmas. In the backround you hear my 11 yr old sister talking about bacon excitedly. We got her a bacon ornament to go along with her obsession. As a 2nd grader she was asked to make a model of her favorite thing out of clay and she made a piece of bacon. Bacon is kind of her "thing". And then the camera switches to Isaac eating his textured, machine washable stuffed monkey and bear. Recap: Brad wearing a raccoon, Bacon, baby eating bear and monkey.

Christmas

As you hear throughout the video, Garrett was sick all Christmas eve. We attempted to go to my families home, which is an hour from us, several times but Garrett could not handle it. He really wanted to go but every time we thought he could make it out the door he'd puke. We spent the night and into the wee hours of the morning cleaning up vomit and changing bed sheets. Our Christmas eve dinner was an elegant feast of Dominos Pizza and sparkling rootbeer.
Christmas morning we tested out Garrett and by noon we were able to drive to see my family. Garrett is being held by Diana, Isaac by Dara, other voices you may hear are mine, Brad, my mom, my stepdad, Arianna or Joseph.
